A Cedar Cove Christmas (Cedar Cove, #8.5)A Cedar Cove Christmas by Debbie Macomber
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This is book 8.5 in Debbie Macomber's Cedar Cove series.  The story is reminiscent of the Nativity story.  There's a lot of play on names and significance similar to the Nativity story.  Mary Jo Wyse is pregnant with David Rhodes' baby and travels to Cedar Cove hoping that he is visiting with his family for the holidays like he told her.  Of course, again, he has lied to her.  After Mary Jo's brothers find out she has left Seattle for Cedar Cove, they set out to find her and want to give David Rhodes a piece of their mind!

I don't want to give too much more away, but the rest of the story follows along with the Nativity story, but in a more contemporary way.
Although this book was a very quick read, it was quite predictable.  A nice story to relax and read around the holidays.
