This is a very powerful book about a woman who gets deployed, but also about a marriage that is on shaky ground. Add to that a preteen daughter and a Kindergarten-aged daughter and you have a lot of other situations in this brilliant novel. This is a story that is very true-to-life and will make you think about all the men and women who serve in the United States forces. I was so touched by this novel that I could not go onto my next read for over a week. The story resonated with me and will do the same with you! This is a definite must read!
