You may remember Mandisa from Season 5 of American Idol.
And you may not.

She finished in 9th place on the show, but as you will see in the music video below, NOT winning American Idol didn't hold her back!
She is the 5th American Idol alumnus to win a Grammy Award.
Her album, Overcomer, won the
Best Contemporary Christian Music Album in 2014!

I love this song and this video for so many reasons.
I only wish more 'Pop' radio stations played this song because it is so inspirational. I first heard the song online, through a post on Facebook.
The only radio station I hear playing this is a Christian station in our area called Word FM. If you've never heard the song or saw the video, please give it a try!
